Courtney Cole is a singer-songwriter and recording artist whose music is for people navigating their inner lives. Her songs create space to feel, reflect, and reconnect with parts of ourselves that may have been lost or forgotten along the way. Drawing from her own lived experience, Courtney writes with honesty and heart, creating music that meets listeners where they are and invites them to better understand their own stories.

Her path has unfolded across many chapters, from her New Orleans roots, to more than a decade immersed in Nashville’s music scene, to a pivotal inner shift shaped by time spent in the Himalayas. Across each phase, her work has remained grounded in both artistry and real life, blending strong musical craft with emotional truth.

After earning her music degree at Belmont University, Courtney spent over twelve years writing, recording, and touring out of Nashville, Tennessee. During that time, she shared stages with artists including Miranda Lambert, Kenny Chesney, Kane Brown, and Old Dominion, collaborated with some of the industry’s most respected writers and producers, and toured extensively throughout the U.S. Her work received national recognition from outlets such as Rolling Stone and Huffington Post, and her catalog has accumulated millions of streams across platforms.

As her life evolved, so did her art.

A vivid dream marked the beginning of a period of personal growth that reshaped how Courtney related to music, identity, and purpose. Rather than stepping away from her career, she leaned further into it, allowing her writing, production choices, and performances to become clearer, more spacious, and emotionally honest. Her songs began to change, her stories deepened, and the questions she was living became central to what she now shares through her music and live performances.

From this chapter emerged a body of work centered on honesty, release, and growth, including her song Untethered, which has become a cornerstone of her live experiences and a touchstone for listeners navigating change, uncertainty, and self-discovery.

This evolution led to Earthquake, an EP rooted in vulnerability, self-inquiry, and emotional depth, featuring standout tracks like “Spiritual” and “Right Direction,” and marking a shift in how Courtney approaches recording. Rather than following the standard 440Hz tuning, she began working within a 528Hz-based tuning framework, drawn both to its symbolic association with balance and unity and to the way it supports a more embodied listening experience. In yogic tradtion, unity refers to the alignment of inner awareness with lived experience, and this tuning mirrors that intention sonically. Beyond the symbolism, the shift creates a sense of tonal warmth, spaciousness, and physical ease. Subtle changes in tuning can influence how music is felt as much as how it’s heard, and this approach encourages the nervous system to settle into a more grounded, open state, supporting the emotional and somatic depth at the core of her work.

Around the same time, Courtney’s path carried her back and forth to the Himalayas in India over several years, where she studied the relationship between sound, consciousness, and inner transformation rooted in the Himalayan tradition. There, she discovered a natural integration between music and the body’s capacity to regulate and heal, and not as two separate disciplines, but as expressions of the same underlying language of vibration, presence, and deep listening.

From this approach emerged The Love Freq, an artistic extension of Courtney’s music that invites listeners to step more fully into the emotional themes of her work and notice how they resonate with their own lives. Through live performances, sound immersions, and retreats such as The Untethered Retreat, The Love Freq offers a welcoming space to slow down, listen, and explore what the music brings up, both individually and in community.

Today, Courtney’s work lives at the intersection of professional artistry and lived experience. Her live performances feel less like traditional concerts and more like shared musical journeys, blending original songs, storytelling, and sound to create space for reflection, release, and connection. Through her music and The Love Freq, Courtney invites listeners not just to listen, but also to participate, opening the door to insight, healing, and a deeper relationship with their own inner world.
