SUCCESS?

What determines success?

Is the result of the expectations we or our family members put on us to achieve the goals/dreams we set out to achieve as kids or young adults? If we reach those goals, is that success? And if we don’t, is that failure? Either way, that’s a hell of a lot of pressure. What if dreams change? What if desires shift? And what if what we thought we wanted turns out to be not at all what we thought? Is that failure? Or is that EVOLUTION? Reinvention, even?

The way we experience life is very linear. No matter who you are, you live in the past based off of the collection of experiences you’ve had. It’s only natural. Maybe the reason so many of us sometimes feel like we have failed is because we are living our present lives based off of past expectations and past desires. Maybe we are not allowing ourselves to evolve past the point of accepting our new passions and our new selves.

Who are you TODAY? Not yesterday... not 10 years ago... What do you want out of yourself? Not what your parents want... or what your Grandma thinks you should be...

Accept your success in this moment.

You are so perfectly in process!
